Principle for Ametropic Correction of iLASIK Surgery

As being a kind of 193nm-wavelength extreme ultraviolet laser (mixture of argon and fluorine), Excimer laser can precisely acts on molecular bond to make it gasify. Each laser beam can precisely cut 0.25µm-depth cornea, about 1/200 thickness of a hair. It also can gasify a thin layer tissue on the corneal stroma to accurately change the diopters of cornea and remove quantitative corneal tissue with the purpose to make the central curvature of cornea become flat and make the light that passed through cornea focuses on retina for curvature correction. As being a kind of cold laser, it would not produce thermal effects to the tissues around target part.
